Man is thrown 15 feet when oven explodes

Miguel Martinez, a baker at Tex-Mex Grocers, was thrown 15 feet when an oven exploded at his work place. A co-worker, Mercedes Zepeda, was also injured in the explosion. Both employees have filed a lawsuit against the grocer.

Explosion clean up closes Lake Springfield, IL

Boaters are turned away today as the clean up from Saturday night’s power plant explosion occured. debris containing asbestos was left floating throughout the lake. Some oil also made its way into the lake water as the firefighters fought to contain the explosion.
