An explosion at a New Jersey chemical plant severely injured one worker on Monday. Sabour Ferozan, 49, suffered second and third degree burns on his hands and arms. He was reported in critical, but stable condition at St. Barnabas Medical Center.
The explosion, which was sparked in a high-hazard room of the chemical plant, resulted in a chemical fire which firefighters had no choice but to wait out. The cause of the explosion is as yet unknown.
