One man died and another was seriously injured after an explosion at a bio-diesel plant in Princess Anne, Maryland. The explosion occurred just after noon on May 18 at Greenlight Biofuels plant in Princess Anne Industrial Park.
Two workers were working on the methane line inside the plant when the explosion occurred. It is believed that the explosion occurred when they hit a gas line. The man who was welding died on the spot. The other worker was taken to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries, but he is expected to live. He was alert and conscious prior to be taken to the Medical Center.
