Yesterday morning a man was working on his boat in the front driveway of his home. He was in the process of changing his fuel filter on his boat when there was an explosion in the engine bay area of the boat.
The explosion happened around 9 am before the man was going to take his boat out on the lake. Neighbors said that they heard the explosion go off and rushed immediately outside to find out what happened.
The man was immediately rushed to the hospital and was treated for both second and third degree burns. Although he was put into the trauma center in the local hospital, his explosion burn injuries weren’t considered to be life threatening and after treatment will soon be released from the hospital. No more information will be released about the man involved in the explosion.
