Fire at Chemical Plant in Kansas

A fire broke out at Jacam Chemicals plant in Sterling, Kansas, on March 14, at 5 30 AM. The fire caused explosions in the plant.
Building number 5 of the plant, which stores empty 55 gallon drums, caught fire. The fire was put out by firemen. These drums, though empty, had a build up of vapors.

Chemical Plant Explosion in Wisconsin

Cortech Spray Technologies Company, a chemical plant in Spooner, Wisconsin, caught fire on the morning of Tuesday, March 18th. Cortech makes aerosol products and paint solvents. Cotech has been in Spooner since 1963.

Report: Safety Violations Found at Oil Refineries Nationwide
