Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Linked to Generators After Hurricane Ike

HOUSTON, Texas -Gas-powered generators have sent at least 30 Houston residents to area emergency rooms to be treated for carbon monoxide poisoning. The victims have been using the generators since Hurricane Ike, which blew through the Gulf Coast two weeks devasting Galveston Island and parts of Houston, knocked out their power.
